Another Random
-So tomorrow I am 7 weeks. I was worried because I was not sick or hungry or anything... well, except the fact my boobs felt like they were going to bust off my chest (totally weird.. my boobs have never hurt), but hunger hit me hard yesterday and getting sick hit me hard this morning... in fact, it woke me up... makes me feel more positive about everything... Still can't wait to get the ultrasound on Friday for my own reassurance.
You know...
Maybe that means this baby is a girl and she is going easy on me....
HAHAHA..
Please, anyone knows that any little girl born from CASEY HILL WHITEAKER is not going to be easy on anyone. Or...
Maybe she will have Ja's temperament. Wishful thinking all around.
-Ja's cousin is due the month before me and last Thursday they found out it was twins. I thought I was told they were fraternal, but I just saw the ultrasound and they totally don't look like fraternal to me. They look more Monochrionic Diamniotic identical or Dichrionic Diamniotic identical to me... but I am not a doctor. If I had to pick, it would be the Di-Di identicals because they are not in the Twin/Twin Transfusion Syndrome high risk group.
-You won't be seeing any Week 11 House updates this week... due to the monsoon that was here for 8 dadgum days, they weren't able to get much done. I will definitely have pics for you next week. All they did get done was the hardwood....
-I am going to see what pics Kaka and Pops have on their computer...

Weight
I sometimes glimpse this show during the day called "The Drs." Today they are discussing obesity in Americans and how we are absolutely oblivious to our own health and weight.
They used an example by walking down the street and asking people if they knew their weights and would subsequently weigh them and see the difference.
One lady's encounter:
Dr: Ma'am, do you know your own weight
Lady: Yes, it is 115lb
Dr: Do you mind stepping on these scales to verify?
Lady: Sure (as she is stepping on them)
Dr: Ma'am, you do not weight 115, you weigh 170 lbs.
This people, is what *I* call fooling yourself in dangerous proportions. Can people really convince themselves to that extreme?
If I haven't weighed in a while I might be off by 5-10 lbs, but I guarantee you, I have guessed higher.
WAKE UP PEOPLE.

Randoms...
Didn't you miss me doing these..
1) Kanye West is a douche.
I don't even like Taylor Swift... and I didn't think he could have ever topped the time with Mike Myers raising money for Katrina and busted out saying "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
2) Patrick Swayze is dead. :(
I guess even the sexiest men alive have to go at some time. I will have to break out Dirty Dancing as a tribute.
3) 6 Weeks today. I don't feel it at all. My doc visit Thursday will hopefully make me feel like this is real.
4) We have a final price on the house... it is set on the contract and we are locked into a 60 day USDA 100% Rural loan at exactly 5%... We won't have to put a penny down, and NO PRIMARY MORTGAGE INSURANCE.. NO PMI, NO PMI... shoooo.. that saves us about 200.00-250.00 a month on our mortgage bill. Crunching the numbers, it looks like our actual mortgage payment is going to be less than that of what we were living on in Lakeland... nice right. LOVE IT. Occupancy permit will be here soon people!!!!
I think I am done right now.. brain is pretty mushy right now. Love you all.

Cabinets are in, vanity tops are in, all the light fixtures are in (on the inside and out), flood lights are up, bookshelf is done, utility sink is in, toilets are in, half bath is almost done, fireplace is done, and we even have keys!!!!

Riddle me this....
What is it?
It sometimes makes you nauseous, it sometimes makes you want to sleep the day away, it makes you pee alot, sometimes makes your boobs hurt, but with some people, it doesn't.

House Week 9
So, we had to visit and see progress on the house a day early this week due to our leaving today to go to Memphis... so after 4 days, 2 of those being rainy, I was happily surprised at the progress...
The tile and grout in the bathrooms, shower, kitchen and laundry are complete...
Even the tile around the fireplace!!!
Our cabinets are delivered and ready for installation...
And we have AC!!!
The walkway from the front door steps to the drive is complete... I suspect the driveway will be completed very very soon...
And the deck is built!!!!
We you might be able to tell in some pictures... all the doors are painted and the trim was being installed as we were there with our visit... I am loving it...
And I can't wait to you see the upgrades in some of the lighting and faucets, and what carpet we have chosen, and hardwood, and EVERYTHING.. so excited!!!
Also, on Tuesday will be locking in on an interest rate... it is a 30 day lock... yes people, we are that close to being in our new house...
