Weekend wrap-up

We had a blast Friday night. The boys really took to trick-or-treating around the neighborhood... of course, since Bellevue church was having a fall festival/fair, and over 10,000 people went to that, my neighborhood was very scarce of little Halloween goblins running around.
But the boys had a blast...
And we found out G LOVES Reese's cups
and D is not a big chocolate eater.

T is for TIRED

We are exhausted... but a good exhausted.
We had a good time at the wedding this weekend. It was gorgeous. It had a fall theme and was beautiful. CONGRATS AMY AND CLINT.
When I get pics I will post.

We got to see Mammy and got some more toys and clothes. How great, and couldn't be at a better time since G can clearly not fit into 18 month pants anymore. They are just too short... but his waist is like a 12 month... so we went to buy some more cinch waisted jeans for our skinny minny.

We did some shopping and spent some great time with Uncle Berek and KaKa and Pops. The boys always come home worn out!

2 times, G accidentially took a nap in his big boy underwear and both times, we were so worried about the amount of washing we were going to have to do after those naps. The funniest one was during the wedding and reception.. G was sound asleep, in underwear on daddy's chest. Dada decided to put a diaper between G and him for a "just in case" measure. No need, G didn't mess at all. Then again on Sunday... for like a 3 hour nap. So proud...

Last night on our way home we made one stop to pee pee and G did great. About an hour later, we hear from the back of the car... (in a half asleep stupor)

MAAAAAAAMA PEE PEE
Honey, wait baby, we will stop as soon as we can. Just hold it.. you are doing good... just hold it... *he proceeded to look at me like I was crazy*

1 mile later: Just hold it baby.. you are doing great. We will stop as soon as we can... don't fall asleep baby.

another 1/2 mile later: We are almost there baby.. wake up G.. J, I think he has peed, he is relaxed enough to be sound alseep.. We are almost there baby... just hold it.. G, wake up G, wake up baby..

another 1/2 mile later: We are here baby, G wake up....

HE WAS DRY AS A BONE!!!! NOT EVEN A DRIBBLE ON HIS UNDERWEAR!!!!
NOT ONE DRIBBLE.

We put on a diaper for "night night" in the car and he was NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!!

I am so proud. *sniff*

Weekend Wrap up

Well, we had a busy but nice weekend. Saturday I help a friend move while J kept the boys, then we all went to my brother's house to help him celebrate his 31st birthday. Nana and Granddaddy took the boys to their house from there and J and I stayed to hang out. We had a good time. Sunday, J and I slept in and then met up with his cousin Amanda and her husband Jeff. It was really nice to see them and give them time with the boys since my parents met up with us for lunch. Poor babies were so tired. They went to bed for a nap immediately after lunch and slept until 6 last night. And believe it or not, when 8 hit, it wasn't hard to get them back to bed for the night. Now before I left to help move, I discovered a few things "the boys" do while I am away and it is starting to explain why the boys are the way they are.

Sorry

This week has been crazy busy and that is why you haven't seen a lot of posts. Monday was a holiday, J was out of town Wednesday - Thursday, those days I was at my granny's old house with my mom and the boys getting stuff ready for granny's garage sale, Friday and Saturday was garage sale. Also, Nana and Granddaddy wanted to take the boys to Delta Fair.. so we went last night. G rode all the rides he wanted and had to be turned away for most of the ones he wanted because he is oh... a baby.. ok, a toddler.. ok a kid, but a WIDDLE kid... he thinks he is much bigger than he his.. anyways, he found a new ride he wanted to try. But being little, he would just hang because he didn't have enough weight... so the lady manning the thing helped him... she bounced him a bit.. the dadda (you know, his PROTECTOR) says "he ain't scared, let him take off".. and she did.. to the point it was drawing and crowd and many times you could here the crowd GASP.. my mom is having a coranary and me.. I am looking, but I can't.. but I have to, but I can't.. it is just crazy.. he is like 50 hundred stories up and the little booger head can't quit grinning!!! PUT THOSE DIMPLES BACK IN.. YOUR KILLING YOUR MOTHER! Sorry we don't have pictures... I probably would have dropped the camera anyways.

Oh.. and their aunt Becky gave them an old little baby drum thing that she had had with her boys to play with while we were putting prices on items... One day with dadda and he rocks out... check it... *btw, he is saying "two, four" when tapping his drum sticks together... then he stops and says "ROCK N' ROLL".. but trails off after rock.

Weekend

Well, we had a very busy weekend, but it was great.
First, J and I had our 6th wedding anniversary... Here is a pic of us 10 years ago.. this was the first pic ever taken of us... Goodness, we look young...

Excuse my hairup, sweaty look.. this was right after a ball game.

How did we celebrate?? Well, we officially won't celebrate until Ron White comes to the Grand Casino on September 13th. But, we still had a good one spending time with Pops, Kaka, the boys and going to the Delta Fair.
The boys had a blast. G rode all the rides he could and D was pretty content NOT riding the rides.. good thing since he was still a little too short.
Of course they both rode the horses and fed the goats and such, and of course LOVED it.

Of course, for some reason, I was sick most of the weekend. Don't know why, but anyone who knows me knows I don't require that much sleep.. of course this weekend I couldn't get enough. I was up most of the night Saturday puking so much of Sunday for me was spent sleeping, then Monday, I slept some more after lunch and J was still gracious enough to let me sleep in every morning. ok.. enough of that.

Did you have a good weekend?

hmmmmmm?

Hello all.. Sorry about a day without post yesterday... we were recooping from the weekend which was great. The boys had a blast. I was exhausted yesterday nursing a headache.
The wedding is beautiful and as soon as I see some pics, I will be sure to include a couple. The bride and groom looked great. The boys had a blast and looked so handsome in their ties. G found some balloons that he carried around with him EVERYWHERE... he was going to take a carriage ride until he couldn't take his balloons... priorities you know. D slow danced with me and when a rockin' song came on, he thought about dancing,.. but too many girls were looking at him, so he got embrassed.

THIS is the boys favorite part of morning Disney shows. They both stop, listen and dance. So funny.

My little bitty baby boy, D, is going to have his 18 month check today. :( I can't believe his next appointment sets him for only going once a year... this is a good thing for D, because he is growing up, but sucks for me... I am losing my babies... they are turning into little boys.:(

Keep looking, I am hoping to put up D's 18month pics up sometime this week. Hopefully will get them taken today.

Hugs to all.

So exhausted

This was a busy weekend.. but still, a good one.

A friend of mine, Shelley, got married to great guy. He makes her so happy and is completely and totally nuts about her. When I get pics, I will have to post. The reception was everything I expected out of Shell.. just a big party where her and Jamie shut it down. I was able to see a lot of college buddies again and it was wonderful. Many from the softball team Shell and I both played. It was great to see them again.

We stayed at a hotel Saturday night while the boys spent all day Saturday and all morning Sunday with the Pops and Ka-ka. We ended up at a later service for church than our kids and I am sure some were pretty confused by that, but gotta be honest... not having that fight and actually being able to hear and pay attention to what the preacher said was nice.

Unfortunately, we were not able to leave Nashvegas until late and didn't get home until 10pm. But it was worth it. Had a great time.

**From the last post.. just so you people will know, I am NOT pregnant. No worries there. Don't worry about 'punching through the screen'. lol.
