RANDOM!!

So, the house has shown a total of 3 times...
1st time: we are 2nd best to a house on a lake.
2nd time: they have just started looking and looked at 8 houses in 2 hours.. but they really liked it and apparently it shows well.
3rd time: Shows well and they too just started looking but the man thinks he wants bigger bedrooms.

So I totally googled "How to make rooms look bigger"... and knowing me.. I will prolly try to implement those changes... if I can. Like putting mirrors opposite light sources... changing the recliner to a chair with legs to give the illusion of more floor... angle bed to give the illusion of a longer diagonal in bedrooms... taking a tv out of the bedroom to free up more space.

I am out of control... someone needs to stop me.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

D's finger is looking good. The bruising has almost gone away completely and it is back to original size.

See.. he's fine.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I made G's first dentist appointment. :(
He is getting so big... and I can't believe a week from today he will be 3.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know... I am been to On The Border 2 times in like 2 years. Both times, my friend I am having dinner with has broke the news that they are pregnant. How cool is that!!! And so very weird.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Melatonin seems to be working pretty well for G. He has had some adventures but they don't seem to start until about 5am. So he has kinda stopped the middle of the night adventures. shooo.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does "Horton Hears a Who" the movie, make anyone else cry? For some reason when Horton says "A person's a person, no matter how small", I like boohoo on the inside. Every time I/G/D watches it... which is at least once on Movie Fridays.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had a playdate last Tuesday with my cousin, Renee and her little boy, Jackson. We had a good time and I can't wait to do it again. Jackson is getting so big!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Special instruction" for the boys for early intervention has set up their appointments to come out and start working on the boys. D's speech evaluation is tomorrow and it will be determined if outside of the special instruction he will also need speech therapy.
The special instruction is just something I requested. It is mainly to help me determine a good way that the boys learn easily.... so it is mainly for me to learn to teach them the way they learn best... it isn't like anything the boys "need".. it is something I do.

We got our income tax refund and I am pumped!!! I love tax time.

Time for another random

Emmilu - 3 men in the house.. sometimes is very fun... other times you are in real need for a female conversation. Call me and we will take advantage of each other in that way. We can talk making baby food and cloth diapers.
Just get use to fart laughing times 3.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I never thought this phrase would ever in a million years come out of my mouth, but I will say it...

"I was awaken from my morning to sleep in to a grown man singing 'can you teach my alligator manners' at the top of his lungs in a high pitched, ear bleeding tone... but it woke me laughing".

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just recently uploaded pics from the camera... there was 2 videos of my label maker.... like 3-4 minute videos... of just my label maker.
I didn't take them.
J didn't take them.
But we are not going to point blame... but I have to GUESS it was part of someone's late night adventures.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Speaking of G (believe me.. we were talking about him)... *knock on wood* he has not come out of his room and played in 2 weeks... he hasn't TRIED to come out and play in about 5 days...
progress maybe...

And speaking of progress.... for 2 years we have been consistently taking the boys to the nursery at church, or to the class that they need to be in... either way, every Sunday, within 15 minutes of them going in, we have a worker coming to find us out of the sermon to come get our crazed children because of various reasons;
1) they are trying to get out and are letting other children out.
2) he is making himself sick crying
3) he just won't stop crying
4) he just refuses to stay

It has been so frustrating...
But guess what??
Out of the blue last Sunday, G decided that he wanted to be in there.. didn't cry.. didn't try to get out, and didn't want to leave when we came to get him....
It shocked us so bad.. it was worrying us.. but definitely not enough to stop it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The lady that just had the octuplets... and already had 6, including twins, at home... in her 2 bedroom home that she shares with her parents... because she is single and is obsessed with babies (according to the grandmother) and convinced a doctor to give her extreme fertility treatments... and she is only 33 years old... and is apparently crazy...

People like her piss me off... and her momma should have slapped her long ago.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you know putting a new coat of paint and changing the trim can really change the look of a house.. like completely different...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fact that all 24 digits are working is what makes go "wow". But didn't Goliath have 6 digits on each hand and foot too?
1 Chronicles 20:6
And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of great stature, whose fingers and toes were four and twenty, six on each hand, and six on each foot and he also was the son of the giant.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can't believe this was over 2 years ago...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G has been denied by Early Intervention... no delayed enough.

D on the other hand, by my surprised, has been accepted. Apparently his communication and cognitive levels are at least 25% delayed.

I am shocked.

He is chatty Cathy... but apparently that is not good enough.

My biggest concern is his cognitive levels being so delayed... that is what engineers like me thrive on and having him delayed bugs me a bit...

ok.. maybe not so shocked.

Been a couple of days

Crazy days.

Monday I had dinner with some girls I use to play softball with in HS. We had a blast. We always do. We need to do it more than once a year though.

Tuesday was just spent watch G be sick. He was so pewny. Early in the morning, like 2-3am, he woke and came to our bed and I felt him as I was putting him back in his bed and he was on fire. Ear thermometer came back 103.8. I stripped him, put a washrag on his forehead and gave him some Tylenol. Thankfully, it hasn't gotten that high again.

Wednesday, we went to MLGW to visit some old co-workers, then met dad for lunch, then went straight to the doctor... Infection, z-pac for G, and he has gained weight!!! Yea... finally up to 29 lbs at almost 33 months old! Pewny in more ways than one!
Then I had to go to driving school when J got home from work at 6 ... until 9. Oh, he let us go early, it was suppose to last until 10.
Also, last night, J said that G put himself to bed at 6:30. Must have been knocked out by the medicine.

Today we meet with another Early Intervention associate to assess G again.
9 months of dealing with them and they have yet to work with G at all. Got to love state funded associations.

Totally random crap

There won't be any rhyme or reason to this post.. like there ever is, right?

If you ever wanted to buy me anything.. I would love to have THIS book or THIS one would be good too.

Ron White ROCKED this weekend! I adore this man.. funny, funny, funny. Surprisingly, I saw 21 year olds to 80something year olds... we actually had one of them 80 year old couples right next to us. The show was hilarious. He talked alot about THIS. He said he got caught with 7/8 of a gram... that is 0.875 gram... that is equivalent to 0.03 ounces. Can't fathom that small of weight... ok, in comparison, a baby during a pregnancy at about 10 weeks along is approximately 2 inches long and weighs approximately 0.3 ounce.. NOW, divide that by 10. I know, I know.. it was pot and he broke the law, except in California where he lives because he does have a prescription. Anyways, he rocked and after all expenses paid, we left $300.00 richer. Well, J did.. and yes, it is my fault he didn't win more.. I made him leave the table at 2am.. I was tired.

The boys were exhausted after playing with Pops and Ka-Ka all weekend... But I am sure they good for them all weekend.. lol.. or not. Pops has decided D is the most stubborn child he has met. Yes, he is stubborn. lol

Oh.. THE BIGGEST LOSER comes on Tuesday.. SEASON PREMIER.. so so so excited! can't wait. Love that show.

Sorry, but I am tired and this day is draggin' by... Draggin'.

Skipping Reuse it Thursday for a random update

Hello all.
I haven't been good this week about blogging, so I will skip reuse it Thursday for a random update on everything.

My uncle had to go back into surgery because he was leaking air from his lung. Apparently, they found 3 holes in his lung where he wouldn't heal. They sewed him back up and is going to keep him in the hospital a little longer, BUT BUT BUT there is great news... he got the scan back on his lymph nodes and there is absolutely no sign of Cancer in them. NO CHEMO! Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts.

We had a birthday party to attend this weekend and it was great. We had a great time visiting and watching the birthday girl. She is now 2 going on 16. Her mom has 2 very compliant little girls.. after spending an afternoon with the 'Whiteaker boys'... she will never babysit for me... unless I had absolutely zero options and couldn't take them with me... lol.

Early Intervention has come and filled out paperwork for G. Evaluators are due to be here next Tuesday to test G to see if he needs any "special needs" work. (that is what they called it)... In my mind, speech therapy is not a 'special need', but whatever... call it what you want if you can get my kid off of a one-word vocab at 28 months old.

We have been working diligently on my granny's new house to get it ready for her to move in. Sunday, we starting wrapping stuff up as I was there from 9am to 10:30pm. And when I was there on Tuesday, just a handful of stuff had to get done. She is set to move into the house Saturday morning. Then starts the work on the old house so we can get it to sell.

We have moved G's F150 into the back yard for him and D to play. It has become interesting to watch... by they way, if you didn't know, G is a little anal. Excuse his nakedness AGAIN.

Before you ride, you must check that everything is running smooth.

Enjoy your ride

After off-roading, you must "wass truck"!

RON WHITE TICKETS GO ON SALE TOMORROW for his show in Tunica. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! Last time he was in town for a show was August 2004... we had planned to go them for our anniversary, but due to circumstances at the first of the month, we choose not to... This year, we will actually do SOMETHING SPECIAL for our anniversary.. after 6 years, I guess we are slow learners.

My hubby sent me flowers yesterday... Just because... and it was the good kind... You get them in bud form, set them up and you watch them bloom.. so you are watching them bloom instead of watching blooms die. Very pretty. Once they are in full bloom, I will take a picture and post. Very very sweet.

I think this post has become officially too long.. I will leave you with that. Hugs

Random

This guy graduated with me in High School. I really hope his family can get closure.

My uncle is doing great. His surgery went really well and they went ahead after reattaching his airways in his lung, they took the lymph nodes. They will do some testing, but they said that everything looked wonderful. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. They only had to take 15% of one of his lungs.

I was at my granny's new house working on fixin' it up before she gets in it until about 10:20 last night. I don't know how my mother does it every night. I doubt my granny will get in it this weekend... maybe next.

I leave you with a pic of why it is so hard to get laundry done around here.

The goin's on 'round here

Let's see...

D and G totally are daddy's boys. There are small times when D will want me over J, and of course when they are sick or don't feel good, they want momma.. but fun, they are all over J. Oh well

G and D's new game is the strategically place couch cushions on the floor in front of the couch and say "do do fee, ump" [two two three, jump].. they haven't quite grasped the one. I have a feeling this new game will end up with a broken bone by years end.

My uncle C was just diagnosed with lung Cancer. I worry about him.

Sometimes I wish I had a private blog just for me so I could vent and vent and vent about crap.. but I would not have time to update it... it would be kinda worthless.. then someone would find it, want to read it, and when I would say no that would cause all kinds of drama.. so I just won't.

Can you believe that this was the boy who just came to me to tell me D was 'nasty'...
